文章信息 | Relative humidity-triggered polyamide 4/Cinnamaldehyde core-shell nanofibers for antibacterial packaging, Journal of Food Engineering, 2023, 357,111635. | 作者 | Ziying Wang1, Fangke Zhan1,Di Zhang, Yibing Wang, Yongjun Qiu, Jie Zhang, Li Wang*, Liming Zhao* | 摘要 | Active packaging is an effective strategy for maintaining food freshness and extending shelf life; however, problems such as the uncontrolled release of active substances limit its application. In this study, relative humidity (RH)-triggered antibacterial nanofibers were prepared using the coaxial electrospinning. This is the first study to use polyamide 4 (PA4) for food packaging. The morphological characteristics of nanofibers were studied based on PA4 solution parameters. The microscopic morphology, chemical structure, and hydrophilic, mechanical, and antibacterial properties of the fibers were analyzed. The diameter distribution of PA4/CA core-shell nanofibers was found to be uniform at a shell liquid concentration of 4.0 wt%. The fibers could encapsulate up to 94.43% of CA, effectively release CA at high humidity (90% RH), and inhibit Escherichia coli at a ratio of >99%. The PA4/CA coaxial nanofiber film designed herein would provide a simple and efficient idea for antibacterial active packaging system with the potential for mass production. | 摘要图 |
